ABOUT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER
The new World Trade Center has come alive as a dynamic public space with timeless architecture – and is home to some of the city’s most exciting companies including Spotify, Condé Nast, Uber and GroupM. The artist residency will be located at 4 World Trade Center which was designed by the Pritzker prize-winning, Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki. The building is a model of technology, efficiency and sustainability and has also received rave architectural reviews. Around the World Trade Center, Downtown Manhattan has emerged as a new model of what is best and most dynamic about New York. The population has tripled, and the residential neighborhood around the WTC is now one of the city’s most desirable places to live and raise a family.
